THE SUMMER OF 2019
What an amazing summer thanks to our fabulous volunteers! Our organization continues to grow and help fulfill more community needs. A few of the things we did this summer are:
Cooked and served to over 80 residents at Grace Center of Hope
Worked with Gleaners Food Bank to help pack up food bank delivery boxes
Helped sort through Gleaners Food Bank items for perishable dates to ensure safety of food
Rearranged and organized the Gleaners warehouse
THE SUMMER OF 2018
THANK YOU to all of our volunteers for a wonderful Summer of 2018. We had over 50 student volunteers from 12 different schools! A few of the things we did this summer are:
Cooked and served lunches to over 50 residents at Grace Center of Hope
Erected a tent at the YMCA to be used for summer camp
Reorganized the food storage rooms at Lighthouse
Spearheaded a beautification project at Lighthouse
Played with young children during lunch at the YMCA
Cooked lunch for the children under 5 at Grace Center of Hope.
We have some great ideas of how we can have even more of an IMPACT in the Summer of 2019!
