Our Partners

Each week, volunteers will be assigned to help at one of our partner charities.  It will be different every week as the volunteer needs of each charity fluctuate.

Grace centers of hope

Volunteers assigned to Grace Centers of Hope will participate in a variety of activities.  They include preparing and serving lunch at either the men's facility or the women's/children facility.  They can also include outdoor activities such as weeding the garden or playing with the preschool age children at the day care center.

lighthouse oakland country

Volunteers assigned to Lighthouse Oakland County would help in several different ways.  This includes sorting donated food, packing food, carrying donated food, etc.  They will also assist in the maintenance of the Lighthouse owned properties as needed.

north oakland family YMCA

Volunteers assigned to the North Oakland Family YMCA will assist in many different activities.  They may help to serve the school age children lunch and sit and talk to them while they eat.  They may also play games or assist in other creative activities during their volunteer time.  In addition, the Y is always looking for help with small maintenance work.
