Carly Schultz, co-president

Carly is a senior at Rochester Adams High School. Carly has been involved in Summer Impact since it’s inception in 2017 and has volunteered at almost every since event since. In 2019, Carly took over the role of President. As part of this role, she is in charge of Summer Impact’s social media presence as well as the website. Carly also communicated with our partner charities to identify projects for the summer of 2019. Although the summer of 2020 will be different than expected, Carly’s innovative ideas found a way for Summer Impact to still operate and provide needed services all within the social distancing rules related to Covid. In addition to Summer Impact, Carly is on Yearbook, in National Honor Society, in Spanish Club, and a member of the 2020 Rochester Adams D1 State Champion Cheerleading Squad.

Alex Mooney, co-president

Alex is a senior at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Preparatory. Alex has volunteered at Summer Impact since 2018 and took on the role of Co-President starting in 2020. As part of this role, Alex is in charge of coordinating the volunteers and matching them to our project needs each week. Alex also assists Carly in communications with partner charities to identify projects and needs for Summer Impact. In addition to Summer Impact, Alex is the Class President, a National Honor Society Member, and was on the 2019 Orchard Lake State Champion Baseball Team.

julia schultz, vice-president

Julia is a junior at Rochester Adams High School. Julia has been involved with Summer Impact since she was in 8th grade and has agreed to be the President starting in 2021. Her dedication to this organization made her the perfect choice for that role. As Vice-President, Julia is in charge of identifying potential volunteers and marketing Summer Impact to them as well as general social media marketing. In addition to Summer Impact, Julia is on the Student Council Executive Board, a member of the Spanish Club, and was part of the 2020 Rochester Adams D1 State Champion Cheerleading Squad.
